What are the best aspects of this product?

I've worked with many analytic packages, but this one is honestly the easiest and most reliable so far. Funnel optimization is understandable and straightforward, which takes you as close as possible to succesful customer engagement and more conversions. Both custom URLs and custom rules can be tracked effortlessly, I really like that. Another distinctive advantage are configurable dimensions and a neat dashboard that allows for the creation of amazing reports, even when data is not so well organized. There is also a built-in API, and that's amazing in terms of data extraction, storage, and customer support, and I think that makes KISSmetrics a perfect addition to Google Analytics.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

KISSmetrics does A/B testing of landing pages through Optimizely, and I personally prefer using the MVT platform for the purpose. Omniture Suite, for instance, is the perfect optimzation tool for powerful A/B testing. Generaly speaking, I think KISSmetrics is focused on unique users, rather than all of them, and that questions whether Google Analytics should rely on it as strong as it is right now. It is just an assumption of mine, but does confuse me at times.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Bounce rates (both for purchases and bookings) are significantly reduced, I must admit that. It was obviously the ultimate goalof developers, and they achieved it. Optimizing performance is alsoa part fo the game, you get to know what everybody is doing and how. Obviously, once there is a problem, you know about it, and you solve it the best way possible. It shows server calls, for instance, which helps you analyse their impact in a comprehensive manner. One thing I really love about this program is how it highlights particular groups that are likely to convert, it is my sixth sense for business.
