What are the best aspects of this product?
You will definitely like their flexible reporting structure, with many properties and styles, and customization options that help you personalize your reports. All data is displayed on your fingertips, which means that complex analytics are performed in a matter of minutes. With their personal login credentials, all members of your team will be able to access the report, meaning that there will be no need for you to send it separately to each of them. Data view is the same for everybody, and the effect on performance is obviously positive.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
You couldn't expect less from a 'people analyzing' tool, than to have a serious learning curve, but I'm just informing you about it, I am not protesting. It was a challenge to learn and to set up, but the decision itself was really reasonable. The more experienced you get, the more you will enjoy this program-been there, done that!
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We wanted to track our event/marketing KPIs, and to connect them with current customers. It was the only way to introduce multi-step attribution, and to have a bird eye on customers, from the beginning 'til the end. See, if you notice a customer takes 3 ads to get engaged and to buy (and you know which ones!), that's some serious, reliable data to make reports with. Without KISSmetrics, it will either be too general, or impossible. Your call!
