What are the best aspects of this product?
When flexibility and power go together, that can never turn out wrong. KISSmetrics is the school example of that, with all the amazing insight on visitors and interactions it can provide. By insight, I don't just mean scratching the surface, but drilling deep into what visitors do or want to do on your website. Just recently, they reinforced it with new channel tracking functions, this time to the extent of observing exactly how many Google SEO users visited the site directly, or decided to convert to a paid plan. Simply amazing!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There are many things that should be improved before we name the tool 'the holy bible' of analytics. For instance, results don't always match what was validated in the database, and loading times are not that perfect. Downloading reports is only possible with an email, and the email takes time before eventually ending up in the junk section. I don't know why they need to compicate stuff this way, it would be much better to create a report centre, and to download reports right away.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
All of them, honestly. We are testing prices, new features impact, and we track test responses from original cases using only metrics that are relevant in the case. Everything is simple and smooth, and you'd especially appreciate this with complex monthly reports supposed to show the effectiveness of your expenses.
