What are the best aspects of this product?
I am amazed by the easiness and simplicity of data management, especially slicing data in different categories. Honestly, I have no idea how I managed to do analytics without Kissmetrics before. I had no tool for tracking customer behavior during the entire purchase cycle of the product, and I am really satisfied with the quality of the work I am performing now.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Large proportion of the data is displayed as homepage data, and I'm not really sure how users access the homepage to start with. It might be that the product doesn't offer this option at all, or that I'm not that professional at using it, but for now, tying data is easier with Google Analytics than Kissmetrics. I think that some serious improvement is absolutely necessary.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Our primary goal with this program was to sort out users that come to our website and then return to make a purchase. Knowing their first and last attribution is crticial for determining channels through which people find out about the website, and what their motivation to buy our product is. KM tracks their behavior through every different part of the purchase flow, especially payment and upgrading.
