What are the best aspects of this product?

The challenge of working remotely was greatly reduced because of Laserfiche. We can enroll students online using the Online Student Registration. We can also integrate forms that staff and parents can easily accomplish. This includes Parent Input Forms, Health Inventory Form, Resource Reporting Forms, and many more. It is easier to compile it as we are now paperless. Laserfiche also offers platforms where users can learn more about the application like that of the Digital User Group. This is very useful as we can ask other community members about their experience using Laserfiche. Its Answer portal is also great. Whenever we have any issues, their team is there to help us. As we use Laserfiche and learn more about it, we were able to realize its many benefits to our processes so we are working to integrate it in all our departments.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Some training is not updated. They should update it according to the current features. It is also hard to integrate with the student information system. We also would love it if more participants are allowed scanning privileges. It is hard to change the admin settings. Lastly, it'd be nice if we can use it as centralized file storage so we don't need to outsource from other sources.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helped us to become more productive as we don't have to spend as much time doing repetitive tasks anymore. Our students can enroll without having to personally go to our school. On average we were able to save over 500 staff hours and allocate those hours to accomplish other tasks. We can now also work efficiently at home and access documents quickly without having to wait for days to gain access to a certain file. We were also able to create and accomplish parent input forms digitally, allowing us to truly move into the digital world.
