PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Ever since I started my PhD, I've been using this office suite for my works. I'm utilizing the presentation, calc, and writer apps and they're great. At no point did I feel that I needed an option that's not present in LibreOffice. And the best thing about it was that it happened a while ago; the suite has improved greatly since. It's now a very efficient program that I can use it for my professional works like creating Memorandum and other documents. It also allows me to write presentation, letters, in any paper format like A3, A7, or custom format.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Most of the program in the office suite is very good. Easy to use and doesn't run into troubles. The exception for that is Base which is reeking with problems and isn't compatible with the MS Office counterpart app, therefore I can't import databases. Also, the query speed is below average so if we need to work on databases, especially large one, we go with MySQL.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm personally thankful for this office suite because I wasn't able to afford the price of the other solutions' licenses at that time. Without this, I wouldn't have been able to get ahead of my career. I did use trial versions of other software but I still came back to LibreOffice cause honestly, I didn't notice any difference.
