PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

In summary, LibreOffice is powerful, easy to use, and free. It was created as an open-source project by a team of developers and it doesn't require a license purchase for use, unlike others. The latest update has brought a lot of good improvement for the program especially the interface. It has icons now that better fit the app and with better descriptions too. But it's not just the aesthetics. Performance-wise, LibreOffice has also upgraded a lot. There are loads of new functions not present before that made it a step closer from becoming a rival for the MS Office. It also supports different OS like MacOS, Linux, and Windows. I'm personally using Linux and Windows for work and I can attest that it does indeed work perfectly on both of them.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are several attractive themes available. So I have no idea why they choose the ugliest of them all to be the default one. Not only do the icons look outdated but they're not descriptive too. The default theme just doesn't feel right in the system.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I can use a word processor and spreadsheet without having to buy costly licenses like the ones in MS Word. This office suite is complete with all the basic capabilities and some advanced ones without shelling out a penny
