The best free office alternative

What are the best aspects of this product?

When I first use this a few years back, I was surprised cause it can do the same stuff than the software I'm currently using with the difference being LibreOffice is free while the other one has a license I paid for. Technically, this is a sufficient office solution for most of my tasks. The default user interfaces isn't the most pleasant to the eye but it's easy to fix. You only have to access the menu and change the theme to one of your likings. Also, it supports numerous formats of other apps like OpenOffice, and MS Office. This means that documents created through those other programs can be opened and edited in LibreOffice.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The default user interface almost made me not use this but good thing I learned how easy it is to change themes. Another problem I'd like to point out is the options' organization. It's hard to find which option you're looking for because of its chaotic setup.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The main issue we're solving with LibreOffice is the expensive annual payment for licenses that comes with the app we're previously working with. But now, there's no such problem anymore since this one is free and it's saving us a lot of money.

Yes
