What are the best aspects of this product?
We have used Lightspeed retail in our bicycle shop for over seven years and love it's reliability, ease of use, tracking and reporting tools. It's not the least expensive option, but it makes daily operations very smooth and increased our paperless mission. The reporting tools make it easy to track daily and annual finances, inventory trends, and assistance for tax prep. It's a great tool that is worth the cost if you're willing invest the time into making your business revolve around it.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Issuing layaways is confusing and difficult to remember how to do.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I would like to see some basic operating functions added such as a staff schedule and time clock. Otherwise having a built in retail inventory management system would be great.

Going paperless with our work orders, repair documents, and reports.
