Lightspeed Retail POS has worked great for us!

What are the best aspects of this product?

We are on the downhill side of 50 was was worried that my co-workers and I wouldn't figure it out. I was wrong to worry. It is very straightforward and easy to use. I entered inventory by hand and it is quick and simple. It does everything we need it to do.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Our business is different than most. We sell shade trees in the fall and plant them in the spring. I would like to be able to take the customers deposit as a partial payment and it go directly to layaway to hold for final payment 5 months down the road when we plant their trees. The layaway that exists works, I would just like to be able to bypass that step.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

We have only been using it for 10 months and so far I can make it do everything except show a loss on a landscape job. I can't take in less $ than the total to show a loss. I use notes.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Inventory !!!!! Before we just had to remember the trees and plants that were in the retail space that morning when you come in. It has just been great for us and I would recommend Lightspeed Retail POS.
After doing 6 months of research, the price is just great. It saved us a ton of money.
