What are the best aspects of this product?
This software is extremely user-friendly. With everything from the POS to back office functions I find it to be so useful. One of my favorite features is the inventory management! The reports you can run are very helpful, the way you can sort items on a PO, the quick edit feature... so many great areas of functionality! Customer service really seems to care and they take suggestions seriously. It seems they are constantly striving to improve and cater to customer needs.
Most pleased with what Lightspeed had to offer in terms of inventory functionality, ability to create and maintain customer special orders, being able to create location codes for my product, and price.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There's not much I don't like--maybe I just haven't found anything yet worth mentioning. The scanner sometimes misses items if scanning several things at once but that's probably more of a hardware issue than a software issue. When scanning books to receive or scanning during inventory you have to be slow and deliberate to make sure everything is captured.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
Being able to see my ISBN numbers on the main screen of my PO would be a plus!

Inventory management! My previous software had none! Also, being able to create and maintain special orders for customers.

1stPay was a an inventory management nightmare whereas Lightspeed was a great solution to that problem and several others that 1stPay just wasn't.
