What is Linx?

Linx is a low-code automation and integration tool that enables users to build automated processes that can be run manually or on a schedule, activated by a specific trigger. The Linx platform is composed of two modules, the Linx Designer and Linx Server.

The Linx Designer is a visual development environment that allows you to design complex processes without writing code. Connect applications and solutions, integrate systems and create, debug and run processes in seconds with drag-and-drop functionality.

The Linx Server is a Windows Service application that functions as a host for Linx Solutions that are created wihtin the  Linx Designer. Linx Server is responsible for initiating the trigger events or hosting the web services defined in the Linx Solution. It is managed via a browser interface.

Overview of Linx Benefits

Linx is highly versatile and enables you to get the most from your existing software investments. With Linx you can access API’s, databases and files from one application and convert them easily to use in other applications,   create web services with SOAP and REST or schedule the transfer of files by a defined trigger and more.

IT managers love it for producing quick prototypes. Enterprise businesses use it to use it to automate business processes to handle high work loads. Software companies use it to update code repositories and can run automated builds.

But nearly any industry can use it to automatically update their daily data sources, transfer files, send notifications, call on web services and a great deal more.

Basically, if you are looking to automate a mundane yet time intensive task, Linx has got you covered.

Creating a web service or an integration or an automated process with Linx is not as complicated as it sounds. The software comes with a drag and drop functionality that helps you create the service you need without having to write code, saving you a significant amount of time and the need for custom development.

Since each organization has particular business needs, it is prudent for them to desist from seeking a one-size-fits-all perfect software application. Needless to say, it would be useless to try to find such a system even among widely used software solutions. The clever thing to do would be to list the various vital factors that require consideration such as key features, budget, skill levels of staff members, company size etc. Then, you should do your homework thoroughly. Read some Linx reviews and check out each of the other apps in your shortlist in detail. Such in-depth research can ensure you discard ill-fitting systems and select the solution that provides all the features you need for business success.
