PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

LOGIC takes center stage in LogicMonitor as it makes everything so easy to customize that we were able to quickly learn and use the product comfortably in no time at all. It has great API support which lets us connect LogicMonitor with other tools we use in the office. The support is responsive as well. Our in-house developer used SN CMDB integration and was able to work effectively with the representative from LogicMonitor. This allowed us to quickly deploy the system to kick things off.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There’s not much to not like in this software but if I have to point some negative things out, it would be that the process of tuning and sizing of the collectors are pretty hectic sometimes. Also, we find it quicker to call support in case there are problems instead of using the chat feature provided.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The program is very easy to use and our engineering team finds it easy to navigate the software during diagnostics or troubleshooting. LogicMonitor also helped us monitor our network more efficiently because we can control how precise or broad the process is. This resulted in fewer false-positive reports and better compliance management. We’re pretty new to using this though so I think we’ll discover more things along the way.
