PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that it’s hosted in the cloud because it requires less work on our part since we don’t have to regularly check if the infrastructure is running. This is a better setup for us because when our infrastructure is down, we would know since LogicMonitor would notify us instead of the software not functioning. After all, it’s also down. The software also supports different types of platforms which makes it compatible with many of the devices we use. Not to mention that whenever we have trouble with the system, the support team is quick to take action.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

One thing I can criticize LogicMonitor is the price. It’s hefty and the vendor is not into giving discounts as your company grows unless you want to add a large number of devices at once which isn’t what we do with our business. Thus, the lack of a more standard pricing scheme is their biggest downside for us.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The software lets us monitor our infrastructure, our client platforms, and different networks all at once.
