A great tool to have!

What are the best aspects of this product?

The UI of this tool is so simple. It's also very easy to use. Looker comes with a plethora of online documentation. It makes easy to piece LookML together, making visualizations, and moving them to the dashboard. I was able to carry out Looker training sessions with my co-workers.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The only negative aspect I can encountered is that number of Explorers our team came up with. We had no clue which people are utilizing which. We had no idea which ones were deemed obsolete. That led us to have more than one view for similar things. Another downside is their specific use case. It's challenging to create a comprehensive explore capable of answering all KPI-related inquiries from our organization.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our organization is currently utilizing Looker as a standalone dashboarding and reporting tool. This was easily achieved and a majority of our company users are in favor of this tool. People who are ready to surrender Excel seem to have realized how useful Looker's table calculations are.
