PROS: Excellent and up to date GUI. This just looks like a website built with way more complex tools. Excellent implementation of WebServices in 4GL language The language has the advantages of 4GL + many features of modern languages such as dynamic variables, regular expressions etc ... This make powerful applications while cutting development and maintenance costs. Beautiful and evolutive architecture, relying on internal developments + integration of popular Open Source projects Produces binary code, not pseudo-code 99.999 compatible with FourJS's Genero Although not free, amazing ROI Works with the most popular DBMS, such as Informix, PostGreSql, DB2, MariaDB,Oracle, etc All the advantages of the Informix 4GL in a modern development and runtime platform
CONS: Deployment to Production environment is slow. Configuration between Application Server and IDE is not trivial, could be simplified
