What are the best aspects of this product?
M-Files can connect with our operating system's folder explorer. Because of this, we can adapt it easily because it does not require special skills (aside from installing and configuring it). It has powerful search features, too. It enables us to find the most relevant information because of its scoring method. On top of that, M-Files supports our complex workflows as well as our unique document management system because of its ability to read metadata.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
M-Files can be slow and unresponsive when the amount of data it handles becomes too large because of its reliance on Firebird as an integrated database. Moreover, M-Files should be improved by integrating electronic signatures as core functionality and not as a paid option.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
M-Files has allowed us to organize our database of tickets and coupons. This has enabled our company to check and double-check whether tickets have been solved or not. Before this was done manually and it was a laborious process. But now, we have become more efficient.
