What are the best aspects of this product?
Easy to use, works with pretty much any email (and some other products, such as WhatsApp and Facebook).
I've always loved desktop mail clients. I've never liked GMail's web-interface, so this product allows me to use Gmail and enjoy the benefits of a desktop client.
Part of the problem with GMail is that it's different (weird). No folders, just labels. Most desktop clients end up downloading duplicates of all of your messages. This product knows how to deal with GMail.
With Outlook.com, this product still allows you to use aliases as well. I mean, this is nearly a perfect email client in this age of web-based email.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of scripting engine for pre-send or post-receive email in an effort to beef up the filtering system. (I'm going to date myself, but I had a very old email client on OS/2 called PM-Mail that was *EXCELLENT* at this. But that's a very minor nit.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I would like to see the ability to customize notifications based on which account received the e-mail.
I sent a support message about this. Not only did the company reply quickly, but they also added it to a list of "potential" features that their users could vote on and allow them to prioritize their work. Very impressive! More impressive? They contacted me back to ensure I was satisfied with the response.
The customer focus of this company is spot on, and I wish them much success.
