What are the best aspects of this product?
I've used MailChimp in all the companies I've worked so far, which speaks good enough of its quality even without me praising it around. What I like the most is having steady templates organized in a comprehensive database, and I think that's really important for novice users who have no idea what to do with their emails. Now, if you're an advanced user that can do his own customization, MailChimp has amazing tracking options where you can use your own design and familiarize with its unique scheduling features.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
You have to be really nitpicky in order to say something bad about MailChimp. Formatting is not always that perfect, and it occurs that certain designs don’t look the same in different email systems, but I don't think MailChimp is to be blame for it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
My intention was to find a smoothly running platform where I can both design and send emails to my customers. MailChimp was a very smart choice because it allows me to target specific audience and to create all sorts of distribution lists, and I've mastered my control over subscribing and unsubscribing. Another benefit is that I'm clear with the success of every outgoing piece of MailChimp's analytic tool, which obviously leads to time and energy savings.
