Majestic Review

PROS: This app is really helpful when it comes to competitor analysis! It also helped us a lot in industry keyword research. It has many amazing features but my top 2 favorites are the compare domains and backlink tab features!

CONS: It's not that beginner-friendly but it gets really easy once you get a good grasp of it.

PROS: Majestic is definitely on top of its game! It has really unique features that put competitors to shame. I particularly love using the API feature as it's integrated with other software I've been using.

CONS: This is a super good software but definitely not that affordable especially for start-ups.

PROS: Majestic has so many amazing features that I really like: (1) the Chrome extension which makes analysis simpler since I no longer have to open the main website; (2) the Trust Flow and Citation Flow analysis on the site; and (3) a responsive and mobile-friendly site! It's the best program for backlink analysis!

CONS: I hope it allows the filtering of backlinks into toxic and organic.

PROS: Majestic has changed our backlinking game. It definitely made it easier for us. I like that it gives users some important information about the links like its value and industry.

CONS: It can sometimes be confusing for beginners since it's highly technical, so it is important to allot time to learn the system. There are also some rare instances where the links didn't work.

PROS: Majestic can discover a number of links that other backlink checker tools can't! It's pretty amazing. It can also differentiate fresh from the historic index, which is pretty much helpful for us when analyzing data. I also like the Trust Flow and Citation Flow features.

CONS: The user interface isn't that advanced when you look at it. But it pretty much does its job.

PROS: Majestic is helpful to us in terms of market and competitor analysis.

CONS: The graphics can still be improved because, right now, it's not that comprehensible. I hope there would also be an index of links previously accessed.

PROS: Majestic has allowed our business to grow because it lets us see vital information regarding URLS, such as their value and their industrial relevance. Because of this, we can do our backlinking effortlessly.

CONS: Majestic is a bit unfriendly at first because of the complicated formulas and figures. But as time went on, I became familiar with those things. Another problem I have with this tool is that URLs failed to work at times.

PROS: For a relatively new player in the market, I find Majestic really impressive. It can store volumes and volumes of backlinks in its database, plus its reporting features are great too! It also offers an alternative to Google Page Rank, which in my opinion (although I haven’t truly explored the configurations) seems to be more accurate. It’s very convenient with Chrome adding this as an extension option. Now, that start-up time has been trimmed down and I can launch the software with just a click of a button. The dashboard translates well on mobile too—great for on-the-go updates.

CONS: I use the Google Disavow to filter out unnatural links from my site. However, Majestic makes this task a little harder for me because it cannot readily identify “spammy” or duplicate links versus the healthy ones. It would be nice if Majestic would prompt you whenever a bad link gets uploaded on my site.

PROS: First of all, Majestic has a really large storage capacity for backlinks—the largest in the world, in fact. I am constantly on the lookout for backlinks and using Majestic yields the most results for me because of its impressive database. If that is not remarkable enough, they have Trust Flow and Citation Flow—tools more powerful than the Google Page Rank. Take your time and let all this sink in. Trust us, everyone in this field is quite hooked on this tool too.

CONS: It would be nice if Majestic would include the number of searches, among other metrics, to its reports. One would need to use another tool just to get an insight on this, but it would be nice if the developers just added this in as a feature.

PROS: If you are looking to up your backlink acquisitions game, then you won’t go wrong with Majestic. It has the largest database for backlinks in the world. You can even add this as an extension on your browser or on other Google tools.

CONS: They initially offered affordable pricing plans. But they’ve recently updated their prices and inclusions on each plan. If you want to continue enjoying the features that you had initially signed up for, you’d have to upgrade your subscription.

PROS: Majestic makes it so easy to handle our database of backlinks. Not only does it filter out all the “unimportant” links, but you can also track your progress over time. In fact, Majestic has made it so much easier to get a quick glimpse of all your data. You know you can really trust this software to deliver.

CONS: I think that the capacity of the database could still be maximized. And then there’s also the issue of a short backtracking timeline. I still think it’s great that Majestic allows you to take a look at the history of a specific link, but I wish that they would not put a limit as to how far back you want to check.
