CONS: We feel like we still learn something new about Marketo every day. And this shouldn't be the case because we've been using it for a few months now and it would be rather inconvenient if you have to redo your campaign just because of overlooking a step which turned out to be important.

PROS: Marketo has superb automation capabilities that satisfy our business down to minutest detail. We love that we can filter contacts based on demographic info. It captures large sets of data and effectively capitalizes on them. The interface is very easy to use. It doesn't take long before everyone in the team can maneuver within it adeptly.
CONS: It has great room for improvement in providing more relevant info on reporting as well as making visualization of reports easier to understand.

PROS: Marketo is brimming with quality features while ensuring these can be easily leveraged even by newbie marketers who are without an inkling of digital processes. Marketo has superb command in analytics, assessing who your priority-leads are. For nearly a decade, I have been benefiting from Marketo's insights and continue to discover ways of optimizing the system. Now business is running better than ever.

PROS: Marketo sends marketing emails to fast and on a massive scale while ensuring the messages reach their specific target audience. In addition, it integrates rather smoothly with leading CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
CONS: The platform is not that exhaustive when it comes to reporting. I think a big part of this is owed to that the platform is old, which also gives way for occasional bugs and lags. On top of all this, customer service offers minimal assistance to fix these issues.

PROS: Marketo earned my approval as early as at the setup stage where I was impressed with its comprehensive training guide on navigating around and optimizing the platform. PROS: Marketo is a time-saver as it lays down everything you need in creating a marketing campaign. You don't have to start from scratch and create them manually as Marketo automates the process up to the end of the marketing process.

PROS: It requires quite a while to learn, exactly why they require their initial training. But after that, using it becomes a breeze.
CONS: We've had a terrible customer service experience with Marketo. We had to endure two support teams that were equally lacking the technical knowledge to address our concerns, even as they promised they could do so. What's worse is we had to reiterate our concerns because for some reason the previous representative failed to document our complaints! That phase was a total nightmare and if that happens again, we will strongly consider cutting off Marketo.
