What are the best aspects of this product?
Operates in a way that I'm already familiar with. Having Time Tracking built in without a third-party app is great. Being able to seamlessly move over from Trello into Meistertask was a lifesaver, and I really didn't have to take any time to pause and figure out what needed to be organized before getting right back to work. Meistertask has really helped improve my workflow.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It's not clear how to move sections around within a project. I actually figured out how to do it by accident, but the reviews I've read online have said that people want to have this feature — they just have no idea that it already exists within Meistertask.
Having the past-due dates be yellow on cards that I have already completed is also confusing. Since I've completed the card, that date should be either green or a light gray so that it's not as noticeable. Because the past-due date is an orange color, it makes me feel like it's not done somehow.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I'd like to be able to hide checklist items that have been marked off as "Done". Also with checklists — being able to have more than just 1 checklist within a card.
Being able to Archive entire boards and not just cards would be nice.
Also being able to see which cards have time tracking turned on from the main Board Overview would be great — that way you can tell which card is being worked on currently from an Overview Perspective. Some kind of icon, perhaps
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I've spent A LOT of time looking at various task management programs, and a year ago I landed on Trello. Recently I was running into issues with Trello not being able to accept a great/understandable third party time tracking service, as well as Trello crashing for days and not hearing back from Customer Service. Meistertask really picked up where I left off in Trello, and the transition from it to Meistertask was seamless. Not only is Meistertask in a format that I'm familiar with, but having the time tracking feature already built in is a huge help — especially since it uses a regular time format and not a decimal one. Meistertask has been helpful at work and at home, and having it improve my overall workflow has been a huge help.
