What are the best aspects of this product?
I love how MS Access can manage and configure data that I'm dealing with. Data that I've had difficulty managing via MS Excel is a cinch when it comes to Access. I like its wide range of videos as well as its online resources in helping me discover further functionality. I get to learn how to utilize them via SQL and VB. I learn how to deal with computers on my own and I expect it's something that I don't just "click and play."
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
While Access has compatibility with SharePoint according to high level permissions in uploading databases, I've been restricted to making use of Access to its full potential and in meeting my requirements. It's a bit overwhelming in developing the database understanding that if I can't back up data the right way, I'd end up losing all information. Even if I'm making my own database at a cheaper cost I'm still ok being accountable on whatever is happening with my data.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I'm making full use of MS Access in the form of a Human Resources Center. I'm modelling databases that I've utilized with my older employers in managing employee performance, data, and in keeping track of applicants.
