What are the best aspects of this product?
When it Microsft services and applications monitoring, there's nothing that's as robust and flexible than SCM. It has great integration and meshes well with other MS-based products (custom and OOB). Installation, configuration, and administration is seamless. There are solutions in the market, yet I've remained loyal to this product for a long while now. I still love how their tools and features work.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There's a tendency to run into a continuous learning curve since it almost always changes. A majority of the changes are typically seen within the user interface. For the most part, the learning curve is small. Aside from this minor gripe, there's really nothing else bad with this product.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Its Systems Center is being used for carrying out and looking into Windows workstations. It tracks both Linux and Windows servers. Its overhead has minimal management. Basically, it gave us room in deploying an active model for sniffing out problems. We're able to look into matters with less downtime.
