PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

- It's highly excepted in the fitness community
- Works with gym membership, classes, training and therapy
- Clients can easily find your business

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

#1 - (This just happened) Change in rates
- The reporting is all over the place
- The app is glitchy and mixes up clients (search for one person and get someone different)
- Can't fill out SOAP notes from the app
- Waivers are horrible - You basically need to upgrade to another partnered service
- Email and text reminders are hit and miss
- You'll also need to find an email service (like Aweber or MailChimp) if you send out announcements.
- The overall price for what you get is too expensive

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

I've been with MindBody for 18 months and I've tolerated the inconsistencies because they were the only platform that had everything I needed (Membership, Classes, Services and Therapy SOAP notes in particular)) but as of this morning, I found out that they increased my rates by $100/month CAD and there's nothing I can do about it.

4 months ago they sent an email asking if I wanted to upgrade - I said no. So 3 months ago they said they would offer my the upgrade for free to try. Now, because of the trial, I cannot go back to my original plan because it supposedly "no longer exists" and I'm stuck paying the new rate or downgrade. Downgrading will cause my business to lose information from over 400 clients - not a good thing for business.

Ultimately, if you go with MindBody, just understand that they will increase your rates whenever they want and you probably wont have a choice.
