What are the best aspects of this product?

I love the support that this tool gives in the initial stages of our project planning. It doesn't impose and respects our processes. I can also create maps under bigger maps so that we can really drill down on the essentials. If you subscribe to the paid version, it can also convert your maps to PDF files.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are quite a number of limitations here. For one, using this on a desktop is almost an impossible feat. Plus, the bigger and more complex your maps get, the more difficult they are to manipulate. Printing them can be a big and stressful affair too. Finally, the environment in map creation can be improved in my opinion.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

MindMeister is a great tool for planning and working on projects. Although sending these mind maps can be difficult, it has certainly helped us pinpoint the ideas that we want to focus on. I think that this is really great for project creation. We've been able to follow through on projects that would have otherwise fallen through the cracks.
