What are the best aspects of this product?

Solid product. The multiplatform support (popular NASes, Vmware, Hyper-V) give great flexibility. We've deployed on a QNAP enterprise NAS and the performance is great. The interface is simple yet powerful enough to provide all the expected backup capabilities. The ability to review backup statistics (speed, throughput) is a boon. CBT and compression technologies make efficient use of storage space. Reliable and succinct email reports make for confidence inspiring monitoring.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

No real issues. However, we had an issue where vcenter was corrupt andthat prevented the ability to restoration of the vcenter VM.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

The lack of the ability to backup physical machines. Would also love to see the inclusion of replication/multiple target capability for backups.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Provided fast, reliable backup of VM infrastructure at a reasonable cost of ownership.
