What are the best aspects of this product?

I believe that the immutability of backups offers an extra layer of security in these times when cyberattacks are frequent, providing greater reliability in data integrity. Likewise, automating the backup process with the tool significantly reduces man-hours compared to doing it manually. Finally, restores are very fast, which helps with business continuity.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Regarding this point, I would like to clarify that I have encountered problems with the tool's update process, as I have an integration with QNAP where all the backups are hosted. There is no clear information available to help choose the correct version for the app on QNAP, and various time-consuming tests must be carried out before the right version can be found.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

In general, the tool fulfills its purpose, which is to provide secure backups. However, if we could add reporting on attempted breaches to this, it would be even better. Also, having a mobile app where we can monitor the tool in real time would be a plus.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Previously, the company did not have a tool for backing up virtual servers. This task was performed by the IT manager, in this case, me. The work was always done at night because the virtual machines had to be shut down before the backup process could begin. Since we started using Nakivo, backups are now automated and do not require any staff to perform any tasks during the process. The appropriate configurations have been made so that this tool works practically on its own.
