What are the best aspects of this product?
Having process components readily available when you need it most. You're able to get plenty of details in terms of process attributes. These include procedures, outputs, metrics, RACI, policy, goals, and so on. It contains core software aspects in capturing when documenting the process. So when everything is done, the info is all there.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
To be honest, there's nothing much to hate with the tool. Each application has plenty of chances to improve. There are some aspects that I'm hoping Navvia will add in the future. One, being able to import directly from Visio if a process is mapped via BPM Standards. And secondly, an "undo" functionality.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
My organization didn't have its ITSM process properly mapped out. Just recently, we bought a new ITSM tool. As part of the dev tool, we were able to finally map out Problem Management Processes and Incident. We got Navvia prior to going live via the ITSM tool for transcribing Problem Management Processes and Incident. Now we're making use of it for documenting other processes being carried out into the ITSM tool.
