On-Time Web Review

Processing leave time on the go – Michael is always on the go. He rarely comes into the office unless there is a mountain of paperwork to process. This caused difficulties with his staff when they would submit paper leave requests. Often the leave requests were misplaced or not responded to until it was too late.

Now employees submit leave requests in On-Time Web and Michael gets them instantly on his cell phone. He can then approve them directly from his phone and On-Time Web adds the time to the calendar and to the time entry screen then emails his employees that the time has been approved. It has helped improve morale and made the entire office more efficient.

Unintentional time theft – Jane knew she had a problem but didn’t really know what to do about it. Her employees were good people who always are on time for work, actually showed up early and very rarely missed. Yet payroll seemed to be more than projected.

After reviewing the employee’s time in greater detail she discovered that many of the workers were clocking in early and out late on their shifts, not by too much time, but enough to make a difference in her payroll budget. She observed that they were coming in early, but not actually starting work until the time required. Then in the afternoon they would stand and talk for 20 minutes before actually leaving for the day. Then she found On-Time Web and utilized the punch override feature in the system. Employees can still come in early and leave late, but now they are only being paid for the actual time worked. Now payroll is more in line with their budget and people are being paid more accurately.

Tracking time specifically – Mary runs an in home health care company. Employees go from location to location providing a list of services for people who are either recovering from surgery or dealing with ongoing health issues. Accurately tracking time spent with each client as well as documenting what was done is critical to her business because of billing and regulations for her industry.

It is an intense process of recording all the time manually as well as the notes and assignments. On-Time Web has brought a way more efficient and accurate method with very little setup and process changes. She turned on Jobs/Phases/Tasks within On-Time Web and then renamed the Jobs to Client, Phases to Action. Now her workers can enter their time specific to Clients/Action/Tasks. This provides her with the needed reports to fulfill the reporting needs for her industry easily without all the manual built reports.
