What are the best aspects of this product?
OnBase provides with great training tutorials, support and assistance. We use various modules and they are used by different departments. This platform is very helpful because we must keep documents available for public record requests. We use the Advanced Capture to get records into Onbase without indexing. We know that our records are secure, backed up and always available.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
They need to create space for more administrators to set up all the requests and procedure for new documents.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We are able to scan documents and to automatically index them based on speeding up processes. It is very helpful for our finance department because all they need to do is to import checks from other systems and indexes them by invoice number and check number. Staff members for Human Resources department use the OnBase platform to record all town employees, and all employee-related documents.
