Intuitive and does the job

What are the best aspects of this product?

Before this program, I was in a director role where I didn't so much use similar programs but simply had to input my drafting directions, carve butter foirms, and render. When I finally dove into using programs like this, I had to get the hang of parametrics, even with my decades of experience. It was this program in particular that I took a shine to. I like the user interface and layout and I was impressed with how advanced the sheet metal functions were. I also appreciated how easy it was to transfer my outputs to our manufacturing facilities in Asia. Another thing that impressed me was how quickly I adapted to using it, because my speed had increased by the time I was on my third project. A lot of the features were intuitive which made it really easy to adapt.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I really wish that resources, tutorials, and knowledge bases for this program was more accessible and available. The ones that come with the program are for those who are new to the program, and I'm ready to take on more advanced things. While I've been able to find some webinars that have been pre-recorded, most of them delve into a specific issue and don't tackle the program in a more general way, which is the type of instruction I am looking for. I also have trouble with getting bolts with threads when using the auto function of placing ANSI fasteners. Perhaps this is because I have not configured the program properly or there's a setting I need to turn on, but I honestly can't spare the time to look for a solution online. This is why I think the best improvement they could introduce are better resources on using this program.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The biggest benefit I've been able to get from this program is that it has allowed me to work on my designs wherever I may be, thanks to the cloud based server that I can access even with a mobile device.
