Wonderful product and very helpful support team

What are the best aspects of this product?

The Optimizely team was very helpful when we started implementing it on mobile in both iOS and Android. They helped us to better understand the product and to use all its potential, they are really passionate for helping us to get the most out of the product. The support team is available on an e-mail, support request, forum post and even on the phone. Something that I like is that they always ask for feedback, they really want to meet their clients’ needs. The multivariate testing and statistical analysis are very simple and easy to use. You are able to see how the experiments are going so you can focus more on important things. If you have some issues on how to use the platform, they offer lot of sources to help you understand every piece of the platform.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I’d like to export more data and integrate it with a data warehouse so we can run our own analytics. Sometimes we don’t know exactly how long an experiment will need to run so we wish to integrate directly into the experiment. I feel like they have made the process very simple to set up and start running without proper constructs on what we are testing and what experiments we should be running. Also, it doesn’t mean if there are results on testing a button in an early stage of the funnel that the end conversion is going to be changed.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use Optimizely as an important piece for understanding and testing our user’s behavior based on the product, design, marketing, and even engineering groups. We use it in many ways for making quick tests so we can see how our users interact with buttons, promotional text, hero images to testing pour future roll-outs and operational changes. We are provided with qualitative data. Now, from a platform perspective we use it for web, mobile web, and mobile app. I love that we have one platform for all testing and we are provided with tools to manage projects and to analyze results.
