What are the best aspects of this product?
One of the reasons why I'm attracted to the software is because of its self-serving features that are not available in other apps. This takes away a lot of workload from our HR staff because employees can access certain information on their own. They can even install the app on their smartphones and make inquiries, requests, and be updated wherever they may be.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
One of our biggest problems is that HCM could not fully integrate other learning/training APIs into the platform. We were initially given the green light to have all the necessary courses uploaded only to find out that it's not possible. This caused a lot of issues on our end, and we had a hard time explaining things to our client. Since we could not push through with online courses, we have no choice but to look for other viable options. I wished that the team behind this software should have been more transparent to us regarding OLC integration issues. Should we have known this from the beginning, we could have created a backup plan so we won't end up losing revenue.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We used to hire a 3rd party team to take charge of our recruitment and human resources department. This setup is very effective but costly. Now that we have HCM, we were able to reduce our cost by more than 50 percent. Also, we were able to acquire several big-time sponsors for our products, and we are now preparing for its launch, which will happen soon.
