What are the best aspects of this product?

I am able to take advantage of what the competitors are doing and who their customers are. Having this information at my disposal, it is easy to come up with a strategy that will beat that of my client’s competitors. With Owler, I can achieve this while still on the same program. I can view the trends, funding and competitors on the platform which offers me with the right information on where I stand with them. From this raw data, I can compare and improve where necessary to help gain a better competitive advantage for my client’s business.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Although the tool provides data that you can use to improve your business, it is difficult if not impossible to know the level of accuracy the data comes with. It would be better if there was a measure for this so that you can know the confidence level on which you should rely on this data to develop your business. Alternatively, if there was more data provided, for the purpose of comparison and tracking of competitor’s activities and strategies, it would be more accurate once you analyze it. All in all, it has come out as a great tool to help you in the analysis and monitoring what competitors are doing to stay on top.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It is one thing to identify who your competitor is and another to know what they are doing that makes them better than you are. Luckily, with Owler, I have been able to do this and more without much effort. It helps to collect data based on competitors and compare them based on the different platforms they are on. With such ability, it is easy to track and monitor hat they are doing, who they are competing with in the market and hat they are doing differently. In so doing, I am able to know, in-depth, about my client’s business and target market by monitoring their competitor.
