What are the best aspects of this product?

PayPal is one of the top choice among the payment platforms that I'd recommend for a business or even a personal payment option. It is confidential and fairly easy to use while all sales are recorded in just one place. The invoice feature makes it really easy to keep track of payments coming in and out of your business. The payment options are available in many forms as well, even for customers who do not have a PayPal account.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The only option I do not like is the gifting option because customers tend to use it to gift the payment to save on a fee but then you dont have an address to send merchandise too. So I would recommend using the invoice part for payments only.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I do not have to take the credit card/debit card payments myself. I also do not have to worry about security breaches since it is developed with confidentiality foremost in mind. I'm also solving the #1 problem that small business have and dread and that is accounting. It takes a lot of the accounting off your hands and it ensures that alll your money is recorded in just one place and is easily accounted for.
