Using PeopleSoft was soft indeed

What are the best aspects of this product?

PeopleSoft is a system that incorporates all the essential business information, but not like a basic HRIS/ Payroll product. There is much more to it, such as Time and Labor Tracking, Education and Performance Management, Disciplinary section and eLearning records. Basically, it was all we needed.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I was not that impressed by the Disciplinary tracking. I mean, it was possible to create documents and everything, but pulling them into sections with specific warnings was a real nightmare.I had to do that manually every time, which means that the system was useless in some occasions.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I was an HR business partner, and my role was to manage employee relations, performance and training. I was happy to have PS to rely on because I generated all of my reports there.Information was always at my fingertips, presented in a clear and understandable format.
