PivotData REST Service is a .NET Core microservice (web application) that provides a web API for calculating pivot tables in the real time (in-memory OLAP engine + built-in ROLAP). This application may be hosted either on Windows or Linux.
Among the many advantages PivotData REST Service includs direct connection to SQL or MongoDb databases (no ETL), custom connectors may be added on-demand (.net plugins). Users will also love creating and configuring simple data sources/cubes with JSON file (no programming needed).
The software also offers a number of advanced pivot table options (percentages, differences, custom formatting & labels, TOP-N limits, server-side pagination) as well as formula measures, report parameters for database-level filtering. With PivotData REST Service, users benefit from transparent microservice security with JSON Web Tokens.
The application comes with a web API for rendering pivot tables to HTML and other formats (JSON, CSV, Excel, PDF).
