What are the best aspects of this product?
Ease of use and designed to fit our business processes. Eliminated redundant data entry and provided immediate updates to customer activity. Promys replaced three disparate systems with one comprehensive, easy to use one. The tool provides real-time data for better decision making to all departments. This transparency helped us better communicate and understand our business. Analysis of data was greatly simplified and easy to access. Customer support and training is fantastic at Promys, they are a partner. The Promys team makes an effort to understand our business and provides workable solutions to our evolving business needs.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
We use the many standard reports in Promys for most analysis, but at times we need special reporting which can be done via Excel downloads from the application. However, Promys now has a BI tool that will help eliminate the need for Excel and provide reports that are customized for our needs. For Projects, we use Microsoft Project and better interfaces there would be helpful.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I would like to see Promys work with an Accounting Software company to provide a full General Ledger solution. Currently we use Invoicing, Inventory Management, and Purchasing from an Accounting perspective. Continued improvements in time reporting for Service would be helpful.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Timely access to data, full view of customer hardware and service orders, elimination of duplicate data entry from Sales Order to PO to Invoicing. Promys also is a true partner and is open to suggestions for improvement and customization when needed. Support is fantastic.
