What are the best aspects of this product?

Going paperless using ProShop was a huge step forward in the development of our company. ProShop has extremely good controls to monitor everything that is going on in our shop from a single computer screen. It allows us to know where all of our jobs are at, keep better controls of our process and inventory levels. It also enables us to focus on optimizing our throughput and keeping our on-time delivery high. The fact that it also includes a fully integrated QMS to manage our AS9100 system is of paramount importance. It is a very effective and low cost way to manage quality compared to a paper based system.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

When we are doing intensive work it can get a bit slow at times of day. But the guys at Adion are going to release a completely new back end in 2017 that will eliminate this issue, they tell us.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

More robust vendor management, some tweaks to how work is put on the schedule.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We eliminated our need to have a daily status meeting with many people. It improved our on-time delivery performance by a huge amount. We also increased our planning throughput by over 400%. The list goes on and on.
