Reliable software for spatial analysis

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love that this software can be configured by editing its scripts. A large number of professionals are working on QGIS and the improvements being done are very apparent. I seldom encounter program errors when using QGIS. It is an efficient and reliable tool.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I would like QGIS better if output templates are readily available on the onset. This would lessen the time necessary for configuring settings when doing layout. Some of QGIS’s capabilities, like its search feature, need to be improved to be on par with other GIS applications.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use QGIS primarily for spatial analysis when working on catchment modeling and watershed delineation. We use other software when further analysis is necessary.
