What are the best aspects of this product?
I love how Qualtrics offers support in all phases of conducting researches—from coming up with questions and even up to the QA of the actual survey. One thing that I find particularly useful is that Qualtrics automatically downloads the results of your survey—giving you almost real-time feedback on every response that comes through the system. If you want to zero in one each response, you can do so too.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Frankly, I haven’t taken the time to look into this more, but it seems like Qualtrics does not have a free version yet. All was fine when my employers were the ones paying for the subscription, but since I’m ending my contract with them soon, I’d have to fish out the fees from my own pockets now. Also, I noticed that particular survey formats don't translate well on mobile. I hope Qualtrics would fix this responsiveness issue soon.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
The nature of my job is to conduct surveys on athletes to find out more about their dietary choices. With Qualtrics, it’s quite easy to set up my metrics (such as what food they often intake, how much do they know about food labels, etc.). The athletes seem to respond to online surveys better, rather than the good old pen and paper method. This works well on my favor too because I don’t have to manually upload all data into the system. The system even takes the extra step of organizing my data for me.
