What are the best aspects of this product?
In my opinion, Recurly offers the best customer support in the business. Their agents answer our queries quickly and accurately. Plus, the interface is simple and easy to use, and you can quickly integrate the API with SDKs in multiple programming languages. Their packages are a bit expensive for small companies, but cost may not be an issue for medium-sized and large companies who are sure to get full bang for their buck given the product’s high quality and the vendor’s excellent customer support.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
We are a French company we faced the problem of translating the invoices and emails sent to our customers. It was not possible in 2012-2013, but things may be different now. We managed to resolve the issue by disabling automatic emails and created our own system triggered by the app’s notifications. To be fair, it was not a major problem.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We required a payment app to mange coupons, yearly and monthly subscriptions, etc. But we did not want the trouble of dealing with invoices, credit card info storage, recurrence, etc., and we were looking to launch our new system quickly. Recurly is the best fit for our needs as it offers good quality at an affordable price. The app has not disappointed us.
