PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Recurly is easy for developers to work with and offers an excellent Rest API. It makes it simple to add a full-featured subscription billing interface to your SaaS system. It took me less than a day to implement the entire billing part of our platform.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Recurly is not cheap as the pricing is not fixed. I have to pay a $300 monthly fee as well as a percentage on all transactions which adds up to quite a lot at the end of the month. I’d give Recurly maximum points if the pricing was fixed.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use the app to support the following: One-shot price adjustments for customers, refunds of partial periods, refunds or extra payment when plans are changed, upgrade or downgrade plans, and different subscription packages.
