What are the best aspects of this product?
In addition to scheduling meetings, the solution enables us to send out invitations to one, a selected few, or all employees. We also like the fact that participants don’t need a RingCentral account to join a meeting, all they need is a meeting host. It’s also easy to share your screen or files stored in Google Drive or Dropbox during the meeting.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
First, the vendor has to find a better way to sync the computer with the mobile device during the dial-in process. As it’s currently designed, it puts the end-user in a situation where they have to make a swift decision on what to select between the computer or phone audio.
Another problem is that some RingCentral controls are not easily accessible. One function that I have found to be confusing, especially for new users, is joining an audio meeting. Can we have a better or simpler way to join an audio meeting without having to click on the video?
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
RingCentral Meeting has proved to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to helping teams to connect. We have used it mainly for remote team meetings and I have to admit that the solution is reliable. Audio and video quality are always fine and it helps members to rise above the geographical obstacle to enjoy great face time.
