RingCentral is a simple cloud solution that you can use to manage your calls in a single place. The conferencing feature is useful. The WEN interface is easy to use. Plus, you can create custom settings for your needs such as forwarding to your mobile phone, custom greetings, etc. I think it is an ideal platform for small and home businesses.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It is not easy to set up the system the first time, but on the plus side you can call customer support and they provide prompt assistance. RingCentral needs to improve its conferencing feature to differentiate itself from the competition.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We use RingCentral for a host of tasks such as communicating between remote vendors and employees, and proving a VOIP number that customers can contact. Useful features include call forwarding and the ability to record greetings.
