My take on Sage 50c.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It's super simple to use. There's not much learning curve. The software offers an easy way to do data entry. It has a plethora of options for every user. You can toggle back and forth between periods with ease. Frankly, it's a great software to begin with!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Getting around on a network server is a bit hard to do. Installing updates is a pain in the butt. Each window being opened ends up being minimized. So far, there's no clear way to making a global rollout in maximizing all windows. You're forced to close a couple years back before opening a new year. So there's no may to make adjustments once you close.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm given the option to make a smart posting when I want to. But it's up to me if I want to use it. Entry is quick. The job costing is a bit odd but it made gross margin tracking and cost tracking simple enough to kick things off.
