What are the best aspects of this product?
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud is very easy to use and is till now the best program that a marketer can use. I was able to learn all about the automation studio on my own which was used for sending email campaigns. Also, I was easily able to create an inclusive customer lifecycle that included more than 60 email campaigns that ran on daily basis. The product is excellent and reliable for handling automated mails efficiently.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The reporting is what I didn’t like. With a number of email campaigns running daily, it becomes really complex to maintain the reporting and this part has been disappointing in the program. Reporting by campaign is quite difficult and if this is fixed, results can be acquired in a simpler way. The approach available to compile them is quite complex too.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
It is important to have a team in the organization that likes the concept of self-learning. All the functions can be learnt but curiosity must stay with the users to explore more about the tool. In case you fail to discover all the functions of the tool, you would surely bar yourself from exploiting the complete potential of the tool. In such case you will only use the tool as a basic ESP but it is much more than that. The international support is very good in helping to know about the complex things but the users have to explore and learn by themselves.
