What are the best aspects of this product?
Salesnet is not a good program, it is a masterpiece! I've never used such powerful Opportunity System with robust API, and I still can't believe it comes on such a low price (I'm not protesting, though!). Support is particularly impressive, because they are always responsive and on time, and reaching them is fairly easy.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I don't like that the program doesn't do accounting on its own. The integration with QuickBooks is bidirectional, but having a ready database instead of dealing with links would be far better.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We needed a cloud-based solution to help our accounting department remember to send customers invoices on time. We work with cloud-based software products as well, signing quarterly, monthly, and annual contracts with our customers. It took about one year to boost sales, and I believe that was a result of following their Opportunity list with best practices from word to word. More than by selling, I'm impressed by cross-selling to existing customers, and by the ABC code system that allows us to rate customers depending on how often we're contacting them. Giving it a second look, ABC is one of the key capabilities a system like this ought to have.
