What are the best aspects of this product?
Aside from integrating almost every tool out there, the API, on its own, shows the best in tracking practices. Server and client side tracking tools presence guarantees that collected data is done to the nearest source. Reliability has been really good. Customer support is the best and bugs are minimal. Pricing is considered fair for its value.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It'd be a bonus if there was some kind of a pre-installed process that offers client-side only integrations as well as data from the side of the server. The price tag for Warehouses isn't as reasonable as expected. It'd be a lot nicer if a tool-by-tool off of Segment is available. With some tools becoming a bit mature and it's a necessity to have advanced features, it's not as favourable to multiplex via Segment.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Using it to connect engagement and marketing tools to live activities via our own production systems. Capable of powering up our e-mail syste via Customer.io, running analytics via Mixpanel and Google Analytics, and A/B testing via Optimizely. Gave us the chance to go for new tools without little or no developers involved. Gets rid of in-house developers wasting time on every tool's API.
